Q. How do I Register?

If this is your first time accessing the website please click on sign up from the home page.
Q. What are my payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express. There is no cost to sign up.
Q. How do I cancel my account?
A.
Let us know that you’d like to cancel your account and we’ll take care of it for you. Email support@fastclose.com from the email address on file with your request to cancel. You can also call us at (844) 543-5929.
Q. I’ve forgotten my password, what do I do?
A.
Please click on the forgot password link to re-set your password.
Q. I’ve locked myself out of my account, now what?
A.
Please contact us at (844) 543-5929 to reset your password.
Q. How do I upload documents?
A.
One of two ways.
i. We are integrated with your LOS and/or document provider so you can upload via the integration.
ii. You can also upload each document individually at our site, if needed.
Q. Can I identify which documents need to be printed and “wet signed”?
A.
Yes, there is a dropdown box next to each document where you can specify how documents should be signed.
Q. How do I add tags to documents?
A.
Once the closing has been initiated, users have the ability to upload documents and then tag them for initials and/or signatures.
Q. The loan amount and/or interest rate has changed, how do I change this?
A.
Login to your account and click on the closing that you need to modify and click edit.
Q. When does my note get registered with MERS?
A.
This happens automatically once the closing is completed.
Q. Can I use FastClose to send the borrower CD?
A.
Yes, FastClose is compliant with TRID and will automatically provide you with the necessary receipt of delivery.
Q. I’ve signed up, now what:

a. Please be on the lookout for email notifications regarding your closing. Head on over the website to review your account and/or click here for a quick video tutorial.
b. Certain documents have timing requirements that must be followed before you can close, so it’s important to check for notifications.
Q. I received a notification that documents have been added to my account, what do I do?
A.
Click on the link in the email or head directly to the site to review the documents.
Q. I’ve accepted and reviewed my documents, now what?
A.
In most states a representative from the TC will meet you at the designated time and place indicated on your dashboard to complete the closing. In states that allow virtual notarization you will need a computer with camera and microphone to complete your closing. Please login to the portal and click begin virtual closing at the designated date and time.
Q. I have a question about a document, what do I do?
A.
Head over to the educational section of our site where you should find the answer to your question(s). If you don’t find the answer you are looking for, you can reject the document, state your reason for rejection and someone will get back to you shortly. Otherwise please contact your lender or the title company.
Q. What is a virtual closing?
A.
a. A virtual closing is a secure web-based session where you meet with a licensed notary via online teleconference similar to Google Hangouts. The notary will witness you sign documents and then will electronically notarize the documents.
b. This can be done from the comfort of your own home or anywhere that internet access is available.
Q. How do I upload documents?
A.

i. We are integrated with your Title production software (resware, ramquest, softpro, eclosing, etc.) so you can upload via the integration.
ii. You can also upload each document individually at our site, if needed.
Q. I need to upload another document for signature, but the closing has already started what do I do?
A.
Please have someone with admin privileges upload the document and please notify the notary/closer to look for the new document.
Q. Do I need to print out the documents and send to the lender?
A.
No, as soon as the closing was completed, the lender received notification that the closing was completed and has access to all of the closing documents.
Q. What browsers are compatible with the site?
A.
At this time Internet Explorer and Google Chrome are compatible.
Q. Is the website compliant with ALTA’s best practices?
A.
Yes, we provide a secure and efficient closing that is fully compliant with ALTA’s best practices and is in line with the CFPB’s.
